About the Assignment 🎯

We are now looking for a senior IT consultant in servicedesk and technical support for an assignment with our client in Hässleholm/Malmö. The assignment is suitable for you who have extensive experience working in larger and complex IT environments and who thrive in an operational role where quality, structure, and user satisfaction are in focus.

The purpose of the assignment is to ensure a stable, efficient, and professional servicedesk function. You will be a key person in the daily work with incidents, cases, and orders, while actively contributing to the improvement of working methods, processes, and automation in line with the ITIL framework. The role also involves a clear responsibility to support and guide more junior colleagues 🤝.

The assignment is fully on-site at the client's office in Hässleholm/Malmö and requires presence on all working days.

Your Responsibilities 🧭

In this role, you will work operationally in the daily operations of the servicedesk, handling incoming cases, incidents, and orders with a high level of service and professionalism. You will troubleshoot and resolve technical issues at the client, network, and user levels, as well as be responsible for account management and permissions administration in Active Directory and Microsoft 365.

The work also includes installation, configuration, and maintenance of clients and applications, documentation of solutions, routines, and improvement proposals, as well as active participation in improvement and automation work, including with PowerShell ⚙️. You will act as a mentor for junior colleagues and contribute to knowledge sharing and quality assurance within the team.

Requirements – Mandatory Criteria 📌

To be considered for the assignment, you need to meet all the requirements listed below. Applications that do not meet the requirements will not be processed further.

You have at least 5 years of documented experience in servicedesk or technical support in larger and complex IT environments, with a clear focus on troubleshooting, incident management, and user support. You have a very good understanding of the ITIL framework and practical experience working according to its processes, especially Incident, Request, and Problem Management.

You have solid technical competence in Microsoft 365, Active Directory, Windows clients, networks, remote control tools, and ticketing systems. You also have experience with PowerShell, preferably for the purpose of automating or streamlining workflows.

You are comfortable in a role where you are expected to take responsibility, act as a mentor, and drive cases all the way to resolution. The assignment requires you to work 100% on-site in Hässleholm/Malmö throughout the entire assignment period.

Desirable Competencies ⭐

It is advantageous if you have experience troubleshooting in very complex IT environments, managing permissions and user accounts in larger organizations, as well as client rollout and lifecycle management of clients. Experience with structured improvement work, standardization, and automation within the servicedesk is also a plus.
